Time LineArizona Personal InjuryI am often asked how long I expect my client’s case to take. As usual, there is no way to know with certainty, so I am speaking from general observation. First, the client must recover from their injuries. I have no way to predict when that will be, nor can the client or the doctors. Once the client calls and says he or she is done with treatment, it typically takes about two weeks for my office to request the medical records and bills. Most medical office respond within two weeks, but some are surprisingly slow. Within days of having the documentation, my office has prepared a demand package for the insurance company. Once that is sent to the adjuster, I expect to get an offer in about four weeks and have the case resolved in six. Usually, the more complicated the injuries, the longer the time to resolve the claim. If the case does not settle, litigation will begin, which runs on a rule-controlled schedule (more or less). If you were injured in a car accident, our discount personal injury lawyer, Arizona personal injury lien law and practice expert, will fight to protect your legal rights. |
